Sound familiar?

Many people are sent home with “eat low fat” and not much else.

Then come the questions nobody answered. Digestion changes after surgery, and general advice can't tell you what changed for you.

An illustrated breakfast on a terracotta placemat: toast, a soft-boiled egg, green beans, a cup of tea and a pear.

Why did a meal that was fine last week send me running today?

How long after eating do I need to be near a bathroom?

Which foods actually agree with me now?

Post-Op helps you answer them from your own meals, not from a leaflet.

How it works

Three small habits. One clearer picture.

01

Snap a meal, and see why.

Take a photo or describe what you're eating. You get an estimate of how it's likely to sit, with the reasons in plain English and the fat shown in grams. If it misreads the portion or how the food was cooked, correct it and the estimate works itself out again.

The correction sheet, Fix what we read, with the meal name, how it was cooked set to air-fried, and the ingredients listed.

02

Log how you feel in three taps.

When urgency, bloating or discomfort shows up, log it in a few seconds. Post-Op works out how long it has been since your last meal, so you don't have to remember.

The home screen with today's average, a Scan a meal button, and a How do you feel button for logging symptoms.

03

See your patterns.

After a few weeks of entries, you'll see how soon after eating episodes tend to come and which meal characteristics show up before them, with the counts behind every finding. Take it to your next appointment as a one-page summary.

The clinician summary: a one-page record of what you have logged, ready to share as a PDF.
The Patterns screen: a typical gap of 73 minutes between a meal and an episode across 10 timed episodes, and episodes logged after 53 percent of higher-fat meals versus 13 percent of the rest.

How it talks to you

No verdicts. Just reasons.

Explained, not judged

Every estimate shows what drove it, so you understand why, not just a number.

Observations, not causes

Patterns are reported as what you logged, with the counts behind them. Nothing is claimed that your records don't show.

Questions

Good to know.

Can't find your answer? Email support@galldiet.com.

Is this medical advice?

No. Post-Op supports recovery and is not a medical diagnosis. It helps you notice patterns in your own records to talk through with your doctor. For severe or persistent symptoms, consult your doctor.

Do I need to know my exact surgery date?

No. Roughly is fine. You can give the exact day, the month, or an approximate time, and change it later.

How does the meal estimate work?

Your photo or description is read to work out what's in the meal and roughly how much. The estimate then weighs things like how much fat arrives at once. You always see what drove it, and you can correct anything it got wrong.

Do I need an account?

You can see your first insight before creating one. An account saves your history, so your records come with you if you change phones.

Is it on Android?

Not yet. It's in Google Play's review now. Leave your email below and we'll tell you when it's available.

How do I delete my data?

Delete your account from inside the app, or request deletion here. Your records are removed with it.
